BOOKS

Reading books will inspire you to make better choices and to take action more often.  The more you read, the more things you will know.  For some people, once they are finished with school, their process for learning ends. However, if you intend to continue to grow and better yourself, the process of reading can keep your mind healthy and sharp, and prepare you to take your next move.  Business books will provide you with business acumen, health books will enable you to educate yourself about healthing living, and so on. My favorite quote comes from Jim Rohn, “Reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary.”

NAPOLEON HILL
“THINK AND GROW RICH’
If you are getting the itch to start your own business or if you are dreaming of starting an online business, this book is a must read. It will inspire you like no other, and it is an absolute gem of book on how to will your way, or ‘think’ your way into being rich.
ANTHONY ROBBINS
“AWAKEN THE GIANT WITHIN”
Just about everyone has hear of Tony Robbins, and this is one of his earlier books, which was published in 1991. Once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. Tony has a way of explaining things that gives you confidence that you are so much more capable than you think you are or can be. I highly recommend this book if you need a little inspiration of if you have any doubts about your business goals and whether you can achieve them.
  ROBERT KIYOSAKI
“RICH DAD, POOR DAD”
This is a another must read for anyone who doesn’t understand how money works. This book is one of the most famous books out there which flips a switch for people and afterward you have a much better view of how money works.  The story is told in a very simple and straightforward way, and the message is very clear.  Don’t skip this one, as it will start to change your thinking and develop you business acumen.

GRANT CARDONE
“BE OBSESSED OR BE AVERAGE”
I read this book about five years ago and I had to include it on this list. Grant’s biggest and most well known book is 10X, which explains that you have to think big in order to achieve success. This book explains how you have to be obsessed with what you are doing with your business in order to separate yourself from the pack. Good read, and very inspiring.
BRIAN TRACY
THE 21 SECRETS OF SELF-MADE MILLIONAIRES
One of the things I always touch on is the path to success has already been documented. All you have to do is model someone who has been successful and do what they do. In this book, Brian Tracy lays out 21 principles of millionaires and the things they do that made them successful. I used to listen to this book on audio (via my Scrib’d subscription) over and over, and I just couldn’t get enough of it.
LES BROWN
“IT’S NOT OVER UNTIL YOU WIN: HOW TO BECOME THE PERSON YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO BE”
Les Brown tells about his journey and it is a poignant story of perserverance. Success in business usually occurs after you have had many failures. Les tells of his struggles, but he also shows persistence, and ultimately he succeeds. This is one of many inspirational books about a man’s journey that I highly recommend.
